The Best of Cemetery Dance Signed Limited Edition #90 of 400
A cornerstone title for collectors of modern horror literature and Cemetery Dance publications, The Best of Cemetery Dance is one of the publisher’s most ambitious and sought-after signed limited editions. This copy is number 90 of only 400 signed and numbered copies produced, housed in the publisher’s slipcase and signed by an extraordinary roster of contributors, including Stephen King.
Edited by Richard Chizmar, this massive retrospective anthology gathers standout stories from the first twenty-five issues of Cemetery Dance magazine, showcasing many of the most influential voices in horror and dark fantasy. Stephen King’s contribution,“Chattery Teeth,” appears alongside work from legendary authors such as Dean Koontz, Richard Laymon, Ramsey Campbell, Poppy Z. Brite, Jack Ketchum, and many others.
What makes this edition especially desirable is the remarkable signature roster. The limitation pages required multiple sheets to accommodate the dozens of contributors who signed the edition, creating a truly unique collectible that captures a significant moment in modern horror publishing history.
For Stephen King collectors, this volume represents far more than an anthology. It documents King’s longstanding relationship with Cemetery Dance and includes one of his memorable short stories from the era in a premium signed format. For Cemetery Dance collectors, it stands as one of the publisher’s landmark limited editions and an impressive showcase of the genre’s leading voices.
This copy is being offered as a near-fine condition book and a fine dust jacket. The book has some minor scuffs and some light marks on the page block. Overall, a great book!
All Signed Products Have Been Authenticated and Verified with Lifetime Provenance Validation
High-level authentication is an advanced discipline that operates at the intersection of long-term expertise, detailed observation, and controlled verification standards. All items are verified for its origin, composition, production context, and historical alignment. First editions, first printings, and original works require a different level of scrutiny.
Extremely Limited Availability
Once a specific item, edition, or production run exits the market, it cannot be reproduced, reissued, or replaced. Many pieces offered here originate from private collections assembled decades ago and have been permanently removed from normal circulation, placing them beyond conventional availability. When verifiable rarity is combined with expert authentication grounded in over 30 years of specialization, these items represent asymmetric investment opportunities, where limited supply, protected provenance, and sustained collector demand create meaningful long-term appreciation potential.
